Essential Responsibilities

  • Keep Operations Running – Repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems so daily life runs smoothly

Help care for Rawhide’s horses and equine facilities, creating a safe and nurturing environment for youth to engage in equine-assisted activities. Your time and dedication support the well-being of our horses and the success of our programs.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Horse Care – Assist with feeding, watering, and grooming
  • Facility Maintenance – Clean stalls, paddocks, and equine areas
  • Health Monitoring – Observe and report any concerns about horse behavior or well-being
  • Session Preparation – Help prepare horses for equine-assisted activities
  • Program Support – Assist staff with equine-related sessions
  • Equipment Organization – Maintain and organize equine supplies

  • Greet Visitors – Welcome guests, staff, and volunteers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Monitor Access – Control facility entry through the front gate, ensuring proper security measures
  • Verify Credentials – Check visitor appointments or identification as needed
  • Provide Information – Offer directions and guidance about the campus when required
  • Track Entries – Maintain a log of visitors and deliveries

Welcome visitors to The Bart and Cherry Starr Museum and bring Rawhide’s history to life. Your role ensures a meaningful and engaging experience for every guest.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Engage Visitors – Greet guests, provide information about exhibits, and share the history of Rawhide and the Starr family
  • Operate the Gift Shop – Handle cash and credit card transactions at the register
  • Maintain Inventory – Assist with restocking and organizing gift shop merchandise
